Juliet Italian Kitchen shared by @infatuation says: ""After a long afternoon at Zilker Park, sometimes all you want is a big plate of pasta, a glass of wine, and some air conditioning. And when you want all that without getting in a car, Juliet is your best bet. This is probably the most romantic restaurant on that little stretch of Barton Springs Road between MoPac and Lamar, set in a large, old house with lots of tiny dining rooms that make the whole place feel surprisingly intimate for its capacity. And there’s a massive wraparound patio that’s perfect for taking in the sights and sounds of the busy stretch of roadway over a glass of wine.  But while the space and the atmosphere are all worth visits of their own, you’re probably not visiting for the food alone. Expect solid apps, including a very crispy calamari starter—oddly complete with giant chunks of breaded and fried lemon peel—and somewhat forgettable pastas. You won’t be too disappointed, but you probably won’t be blown away either. Come to Juliet for an evening of drinks and light bites after a day at the park, or for a glass of wine during .
