"Plaza St-Hubert is a commercial strip of mostly bargain bridal shops and tanning salons. Along with buying a dress made entirely of pink taffeta or sitting inside an oblong box to look less like the ghost of winter, you can also come here to have a great French meal in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city. Montreal Plaza serves food that’s both upscale and a little silly - think Smurf figurines showing up on plates of tartare and charcuterie, and your waiter dressing up as a T-Rex if it’s someone’s birthday. So if it’s unclear, it should always be someone’s birthday (just make sure you get your stories straight before you walk in)." - Ashley Joseph
