Paseo Caribbean Food - Review - Fremont - Seattle - The Infatuation

"You could go to Paseo and have a “legendary” Caribbean roast pork baguette sandwich that has been a Seattle institution since anyone can remember. But, we’re telling you that you shouldn’t. Since the entirety of Paseo was sold in 2014 (except for the recipes) and reopened under new ownership, it just hasn’t been the same. The original Paseo owners (the Lorenzo family) now own and run the new sandwich kingpin Un Bien, which is actually where you should be shoving Caribbean-marinated meat baguettes into your face. If you find yourself at Paseo, you’re going to like it. But if you eat at Un Bien, you’re never going to want to step foot inside Paseo again. The one similarity between the two? You’ll need your tide pen regardless, because this sh*t will mess you up." - Aimee Rizzo
