Morgenstern's Bananas - Review - Lower East Side - New York - The Infatuation
"Bananas feels like something you’d stumble into on the Coney Island boardwalk on the hottest day of summer in 1969. Behind a bright yellow facade, you’ll find checkerboard floors and a banana-yellow counter staffed by employees in yellow hats and aprons. This aggressively cheerful spot from the Morgenstern’s team specializes in non-dairy soft serve, and it comes in flavors like coconut vanilla and sumo yuzu. You can get your ice cream in a cup or a cone, with dips and toppings that include pickled mango tapioca and rainbow rice krispies. We strongly suggest the salted chocolate peanut butter soft serve, as well as the banana caramel flavor, which does a convincing impression of bananas foster.
