10 Tableside Preparations In NYC, Ranked From Most Impressive To Least Necessary - New York - The Infatuation

"The Show: 10oz Double Wagyu Cheeseburger At 4 Charles Prime Rib, they top their burgers with a fried egg and a thick slice of bacon, cut it at your table, and make sure you get a good photo for your soon-to-be viral video. How did an egg yolk gain such a cult following? And does it actually make the burger taste any better? In our opinion, no. A 4 Charles Burger minus the egg tastes just as rich, and far less messy. However you order your burger at this West Village tough reservation, it arrives at your table with a knife protruding from it. Your white-gloved server will cut it, even into fourths if you want—and you might want: with all the trappings, it costs $51. The presentation is certainly not revolutionary, but it does make you feel well pampered. Reservations are released online 21 days in advance at 9am. They don’t save seats for walk-ins, but you can put your name on a waitlist and hope for cancellations." - willa moore, molly fitzpatrick, sonal shah, will hartman
