Baby Luc’s, a Lucali Slice Shop, Is Now Open in Brooklyn

"Opened as a sunny Court Street slice shop by Mark Iacono with partners Cobi Levy and chef Aminu Tedla, this casual neighborhood outpost serves square slices with an almost surprisingly thin, crisp crust, each finished with grated Parm and fresh basil in the signature style. Price points are modest ($4 per slice, $3.50 plain); the team launched with 50 pies and long lines formed immediately. The intimate interior features nostalgic “old lady” round tables while ample outdoor and garden seating can accommodate about 80 more guests. Unlike the flagship, this location has a full liquor license (bottled Negronis, Other Half on tap, a wine list in progress) and is expanding hours from an evening-only start toward all-day service to better serve neighbors, students, and casual daytime crowds." - Alyssa Shelasky
