"I recall Bestia opened in 2013 in the depths of the Arts District by husband-and-wife chefs Ori Menashe and Genevieve Gergis and quickly became one of LA’s most popular, perpetually busy restaurants; it helped launch the once-unlikely neighborhood into one of the city’s hottest dining areas.
