A Guide to NYC’s Food Halls Reopening for Outdoor Dining, Takeout, and Delivery

"Famed outdoor food market Smorgasburg relaunched in mid-July with a takeout-only model called Smorg To Go. For the new model, the market moved across the street from its former flagship location into a smaller outdoor lot that holds ten vendors that rotate out each week. Ordering takes place on a new Smorg To Go website, and while there is no outdoor dining on site, customers are encouraged to take their food to the nearby waterfront Marsha P. Johnson State Park. A second Smorg To Go location has also popped up in Prospect Park this month. Check Smorgasburg’s site for the vendor lineups each week." - Erika Adams, Tanay Warerkar
