New Orleans Artist and Cafe du Monde Drop Taylor Swift-Themed Beignet Eras Tumbler | Eater New Orleans

"I saw video of massive lines at beignet icon Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter — fans queued as far upriver as the Shops At Jax Brewery — and a banner on the Decatur Street gate showed beignets wearing a dozen or so of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour outfits, encircled by a friendship bracelet that reads "Welcome 2 New Orleans; We’ve Been Waiting 4 You." The illustration is by New Orleans artist Allie Behan, who collaborated with Cafe du Monde on a special Beignet Eras tumbler sold in person at Cafe du Monde this weekend and available for presale online through November 1, 2024; Behan is individually printing the cups, and Cafe du Monde described them as "inspired by Taylor Swift’s Eras tour and featuring costumes worn by the artist during her concert, modeled by our top performer, the Beignet." Cafe du Monde also posted that "Swifties have made these cups even more popular than expected," warning of increased wait times for preorders but promising every order placed by 11/1 will be fulfilled.
