"Homestate — Los Angeles’s popular Tex-Mex eatery — opens its new location in the former Lincoln restaurant today, June 21. Owner Briana Valdez took over the space earlier this year, and it’s already cranking out breakfast tacos as you read this. The location sits slightly south of Woodbury near John Muir High School, and is a solid reconfiguration that’s already sporting the signature Homestate style: think massive logos on the side of the building, Texas art, a full menu that includes cocktails on-site or to-go, and ample community seating indoors and out. For now, Homestate Pasadena’s hours are from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily, with expanded hours on the horizon." - Mona Holmes
