"An international chain for Korean shaved ice, Snowy Village, will open at the end of this month or early next in Asiatown. The dessert shop will serve up bingsu, or Korean shaved ice, topped with a number of ingredients like crushed Oreos, sweetened red beans, and fruit including mango, strawberry, blueberry, and more. It will also serve up Japanese fish-shaped pastries (known as taiyaki) that are filled with soft serve ice cream in matcha or ube flavors, egg custard, sweetened red beans, or savory fillings like Korean brisket and pizza toppings." - Alaena Hostetter
