Punch Bowl Social to Bring Virtual Reality Games to Chicago in March | Eater Chicago

"Opening March 10 at 310 N. Green Street, I learned the two-floor, 30,000-square-foot Punch Bowl Social in Fulton Market will focus on food, booze and games rather than live music; the space features vintage arcade games, Skee-ball, private karaoke rooms, a bocce court, bowling, TVs for sports and virtual-reality gaming (although Punch Bowl didn’t detail what titles or how the tech will be implemented). Drinks will come from a “custom-designed 360-degree bar,” though it’s unclear if that’s just marketing jargon or something that will actually wow customers. The first floor will have a vintage laundromat–inspired design with vinyl floor tiles and communal tables made from repurposed laundry carts.
