"Otium, a prominent restaurant in Los Angeles, permanently closed on September 8. Former employees have not received their final paychecks, prompting a protest on September 25. The restaurant was noted for its architecture and culinary offerings, led by chef Timothy Hollingsworth and Carl Schuster. Despite attempts to cover wages through the sale of inventory, employees are still awaiting payment.
