Back From the Brink of Closure, St. Roch Market Is Again Full of Food Vendors | Eater New Orleans
"After years of dwindling vendors and a particularly slow summer, the market was on the brink of closure by the end of August until Kevin Pedeaux, owner of CR Coffee Shop and one of the hall’s original vendors, stepped in and took over the hefty lease in September. I’ve seen him there from morning to night as he works to rebuild the once-buzzing building, bringing back some of the hall’s original vendors, adding new ones, and filling the space up to 11 vendors with a waiting list; he also promises further “exciting” changes soon. It’s a welcome turnaround for the historic market and building, which hadn’t had a full roster of vendors since before the pandemic." - Clair Lorell
