Owner Kate McMillen doesn’t settle for frozen fruit for her marionberry pies, so the version at this Southeast Division pie shop is only available when the fruit is in season, bursting with fresh, whole berries with a zing of lemon juice and zest. The fruit is encased in a supremely flaky, nicely golden brown butter crust, which complements the not-too-sweet filling.
