"A secluded Uptown gem that opened in 1982, Gautreau’s is being sold by Patrick and Rebecca Singley—owners since the early ’90s—to an investor group led by Bill Kearney and Jay Adams. I learned it will close in October for about a month for light renovations, with Saturday, September 30 as the last night under the Singleys’ ownership, and that it will reopen with a new set of chefs after executive chef Nick Fry and chef de cuisine Brandon Canizaro depart." - Clair Lorell
