"Editor-in-chief Stephanie Wu notes that people are lining up every night — mostly, she says, rightfully — for the inventive cocktails; her favorites were the Larb Gai from the main bar and the Pina Colada Pickle Back from the side bar. She identifies a sleeper hit beyond the drinks: a small, seven-item food menu from Lobb Berlin (run by Arash Ghassemi and Cäcilia Baldszus) with items that stand up to the cocktails. The cacio e pepe beans ($12) were highlighted as fantastic, and the puff-pastry pizza ($15), topped simply with green pesto and a mound of Parmesan, was a much-needed savory hit that prompted second orders.
