"The Japanese-influenced spot called Adachi is scheduled to open to the public on Saturday, August 18 at 325 S. Old Woodward Ave. inside the historic Ford-Peabody Mansion, per a release. Adachi’s menu is still being finalized but the restaurant is expected to offer lots of options for raw fish including sushi rolls and, nigiri, sashimi, and Hawaiian poke. Diners can also expect to see rice and noodle dishes. The bar will specialize in sake and Japanese whiskey, in addition to cocktails, beer, and wine. The 65-seat restaurant gets its name from the Adachi Museum of Art in Japan. It was designed by Molly Allen of Washington, D.C. and will feature an outdoor dining space set inside a Japanese garden." - Brenna Houck
