"Michael Schlow, who won the James Beard Foundation’s award for Best Chef: Northeast at Radius in 1999, is opening a Japanese restaurant called Adachi at 325 S. Old Woodward in Birmingham in partnership with restaurateurs Ken Koza and Clint Mansour. Schlow will not be in the kitchen. Rather the group has tapped chef Lloyd Roberts to assemble the menu which will feature options like nigiri and sashimi alongside options like dumplings and Hawaiian poke.
