"There are plenty of basic, low-key joints in Boston's Chinatown, so to come across a gastropub as refined and fun as Shojo is a rare treat in the neighborhood. Shojo attracts a solid millennial contingent that keeps the place buzzing on weeknights as well as weekends. It's hard to pinpoint the menu precisely, which has a backbone of Asian street food with global influences as well. But you can't go wrong with the grilled kung pao chicken sandwich, made with shaoxing and soy marinade, fried peanut aioli, chilies, and scallions." - Todd Plummer, Shannon McMahon
