Big Top shared by @cntraveler says: ""Peanuts the elephant, pictured above the shop’s entrance on a whimsical South Congress sign, welcomes visitors to Big Top Candy, which originally opened in 2007. Inside, candies by the row, by the jar, by the rack, and by the (lollipop) tree cover the walls and counters. Look for fun throwback candies that have withstood the test of time, like whistle pops, Mallo Cups, Big Hunk bars, and chocolate cigars. This was also the first candy shop in the United States to offer chocolate-covered bacon—it’s what put Big Top on the map—and it still offers the tasty little delicacy years later. There are classic soda machines, ice cream shakes, and shaved ice. Also on the walls are circus memorabilia, much of which honors employees past and present, and wacky instruments."" on Postcard
