"How did it strike you on arrival? An expansive lobby that seems to stretch every which way and is punctuated by couches and other seating areas. What’s the crowd like? The hotel is attached to the 2.1-million-square-foot Music City Center, making it one of the most desirable spots for convention and trade show attendees. But given that it's across the street from Bridgestone Arena, a lot of music lovers travel from far and wide to stay here and attend a concert (ditto to Predators fans). Tell us about the rooms.Omni's rooms have a sexy vibe—dark colors, bold patterns, and luxe materials are used throughout. Book a premier room or suite on floors 14 and above for superb views of downtown and the city skyline. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Beds are like sleeping on a cloud. How about the little things, like a minibar, or shower goodies. Any of that worth a mention? There are typical amenities for a mid-tier to luxury hotel. How are the bathrooms?Bathrooms in the standard rooms are nothing to write home about, but suites have soaking tubs overlooking the city. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Select Guest members (Omni's loyalty program) receive free Wi-Fi, otherwise it's $9.95 for the basic Internet package. What's room service like? The Omni has a couple different restaurants: Bongo Java coffee shop, Kitchen Notes restaurant, and Barlines, a steakhouse and honky tonk. The room service menu doesn't come from one specific restaurant, but pricing is on-par with the Kitchen Notes menu. That said, you're walking to distance to restaurants like Husk and Etch, so you may want to eat out. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?The valet staff does a great job for the amount of traffic that passes through the Omni on a daily basis. Anything we missed? The rooftop pool, only available to Omni guests, is worth a visit, even if it's not warm enough to don a bathing suit. The full-service Mokara Spa is one of the prettiest in Nashville, offering a full suite of services, in addition to yoga classes. What was most heartbreaking about your stay? Not having enough time to spend by the pool and in the spa. With the proximity to so many downtown mainstays, you'll be torn between really taking advantage of the hotel facilities and taking advantage of Music City's myriad attractions and restaurants. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Try to book the hotel when it's on the lower end of the price range—$269 to $329. During big events, rooms can start at $800, and due to its prime real estate in the heart of downtown, the hotel can get away with such price inflation." - Kristin Luna
