"Neighbors don’t get more glamorous than Barcelona’s most beautiful church, Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar. Then again, if your bar’s name (La Vinya del Senyor) translates to The Lord’s Vine, you can probably hold your own. The wine list as thick as a novel helps offset a space so small that bottles tend to outnumber humans. But, staying focused on what you came for, grab a stool at the bar counter or head upstairs (via the tight spiral staircase) to enjoy some impressive church-top views. In high season, the outside seating area is heaves with tourists capping off their day of sightseeing with cava and oysters.
