But that’s actually a work called Cloud and Chair , a chair suspended in a mass of swirly metal "clouds." The painter/sculptor was born in Barcelona, began experimenting with art after falling ill as a law student, and became one of the most divisive and prominent artists of the 1940s and ‘50s.
