Iconic BTS Locations in Korea That Every ARMY Should Visit

BTS Bus Stop

This is the bus stop featured in BTS's "You Never Walk Alone" album cover - the Hyangho Beach Bus Stop in the Jumunjin district of Gangneung, Gangwon province. The Gangneung City Government has actually installed a replica of BTS’s bus stop at Jumunjin Beach, featuring the set’s bus stop sign. 반포한강공원
Park · Seobinggo
This place was featured alongside Han River in the BTS’ "Life in Seoul" video. This promotional video for Seoul shows off the river and the boys eating near it. There are more reasons to visit the Han River, too. Besides its popularity, BTS has shot many videos there. For instance, the “I NEED U” video has a shot of member J-Hope crossing Dongho Bridge. RM also references the river in his song “Seoul.”

HYBE INSIGHT

HYBE Insight, a museum featuring HYBE labels’ artists and their exclusive content, is now officially open to all fans in Yongsan. The museum uses sound, music, movement, and more to tell the story of HYBE’s artists. You’ll see exclusive videos, including: behind the scenes, never before seen BTS content, dance practices like Jimin’s solo, and an exclusive version that combines “Fake Love” and “Black Swan.” There are also iconic BTS outfits, album award walls, and pieces by many different artists, a collaboration with James Jean entitled “Garden” that represents the seven boys. Fans can even download an audio guide by RM!
Chuncheon-si
Chuncheon-Si
For the first season of BTS In The Soop, the members stayed in Lake 192, which is a house in Chuncheon, South Korea. This is where the boys were seen relaxing, hanging out, going for boat rides, fishing, painting at the house, and cooking. Did you know you can actually rent this same house? If you want to recreate your own IN THE SOOP getaway, you can actually stay at Lake 192! Many groups reserve the scenic spot for parties and getaways.

8-8 Nonhyeon-dong
Apgujeong-dong
Yoojung Sikdang In their pre-debut days, BTS ate here daily, especially because their practice studio was in the basement. The owner, Kang Sun Ja, fed and cared for them. The restaurant was also mentioned in an episode of BTS’ 2013 series Rookie King. Now, tons of ARMYs visit the restaurant. It’s even filled with BTS merchandise and photos. This is definitely a must-visit spot in Seoul!

22 Bongeunsa-ro 4-gil
Jamwon-dong
Laundry Pizza Laundry Pizza is where BTS shot their album jacket covers for “Love Youself: Her.” Though it might look like a vintage laundromat, it’s actually a pizza restaurant!
The Min's

Run by their former BigHit Entertainment labelmate and sunbae, Homme's Changmin, The Mins was also BTS' go-to place, where they would casually hangout over lemonade. You'll be in pure joy once you enter the café that's filled to the brim with their autographs and photos.

The BT21 store and cafe is an obvious destination course for any ARMY, young and old. Although BT21 merchandise can be found in multiple LINE stores around Seoul, the Itaewon flagship store in particular is special since this is where Tata, RJ, Chimmy, Cooky, Mang, Shooky, Koya — and space robot Van — all came to life, drawn by the members themselves.

Lotte Department Store Main Store
Department store · Sajik-dong
An extremely tourist-y place, but a requirement for your Seoul trip is the Star Gallery at Lotte Department Store. If you’re multifandom, you’re in luck, since you can be surrounded by not only BTS, but also TWICE, Super Junior, and EXO as well! Getting back to our boys though — once you get to the Star Gallery, you’ll be able to feel as close to them as you can without intruding on their space, via a hand model display! As you can see, V has ridiculously large hands, while Jimin’s hands are just as smol as you’d probably think. Although we may not be able to meet them in person, the hand model display serves as a great way for us to feel closer to our boys.

K-Star Road
