"The Ultimate Drink: Irn-Bru Don’t head to Scotland without having yourself an Irn-Bru. This tipple is the be-all end-all of soda pop. Ask a local what they prefer — Irn-Bru or a classic Coke — and chances are the answer will be in the favour of the Bru every time. People like to note that it's the only place in the world where Coke isn’t the top selling soda, though this is debatable. However, there is a full carnival bearing its name which I, admittedly, almost went to. Violent orange in colour, you know there’s no possible way this stuff could be good for you. Taste-wise, it sits somewhere between a ginger ale and some pink Crush, and while not necessarily likeable, it’s slightly addicting. Everyone swears it’s the ultimate hangover cure and there’s no doubt that the Scots know what they’re talking about when it comes to partying."
